  1. Oh dear. I am so sorry to just now learn of the passing of a great friend and work colleague at the former Department of Immigration in Melb. I first met Lori when she joined my team a few days after Cyclone Tracey had devastated Darwin in Dec 1974. She was a lovely person, a professional colleague and was acclaimed by her colleagues and many customers of the Department. I am deeply saddened today to hear this news (5 Dec 2020) through our social network of Retired Immigration Officers. My deepest condolences to her children and close family. I recall meeting her daughter at some stage and would appreciate a call from her if she receives this message. I need to express my personal sympathies.
I may be contacted: Ahmet Ali Mob. 0400650770. RIP Lori.

  2. It is a sad day as Aunty Lori leaves us in a time where we couldn’t show our respect at the funeral due to covid-19 virus. Fortunately we are left with many happy memories but with a heavy heart.
We know as the pearly gates open her sisters will be waiting for her to walk through and they as one once more.

  3. Dear Paul, Anne and families, thak-you so much for sharing this beautiful service with us. Aunty Lorie was a very special in our lives and we have such beautiful memories of the golden girls and the fun and laughter. I’ll miss her hello fracey froo frops but will hold it close. Love to all.

My love and thoughts to her family

  5. Paul, Anne, Alan and families,
What a lovely tribute to Aunty Lori.
She was a loving aunty and held in high regard by our family. She did such a lot for her sister June in June’s declining years. She’d pack her little car with two walkers, Aunty Pat’s and June’s and take them both on regular outings.
Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time,
Love Christel, Mark, Andrew and David

  6. Thank you for letting all of her family being able to attend the funeral. She is now where she has wanted to be for a very long time, with her sisters. The golden girls are now together. Beautiful words Paul. Love to all. XXX

    1. While we could not be with you in person, please know that we were with you celebrating the life of Aunty Lori. The service was lovely. I will always remember Aunt Lori being so elegantly dressed and in the company of her much beloved sisters. I know she is in heaven laughing with my Nanna Pat and the other golden girls. She is missed, but never forgotten.
      Love to all. Kylie x
