Thanks for letting us be part of this great celebration of Lucy’s life. May God bless you all as you comfort one another and cherish all that she contributed to your lives.
I have many good memories of Mrs May and spending time at the May house with my good friend Barrie. Also a few anxious memories arriving for a piano lesson without having practiced all week. As a child I took her kindness and generosity as just how all grown ups were. But with hindsight I can see that no it was just she a very special woman who brought joy to all who knew her. In my photo album I have a photo of us kids from kindergarten all dressed up as various reign deer, woodsman and father chrismas in a pageant that she organised. Best wishes to all her family and friends who will deeply miss her.
Dear very large May Family with so many children, grand children, cousins etc,
Congratulations on organising such a wonderful send off for Lucy with so many kind and loving words and memories of times that you were all so fortunate to spend with her. She was an exceptional loved and lovely person who shared so much love, energy and wisdom with not only her own direct family members but many others like myself who she made feel part of her family.
I remember many happy occasions growing up together with the 7 May children at Powelltown with my other 6 Podolinsky siblings doing things together with Lucy together with Frank looking after us and having a significant influence on our lives. I cherish those memories for the rest of my life.
Hi David and Family, Just letting you know what a lovely service it was. I loved the variety of memories that came from you all. I of course have my own. But it did make me realise how little contact that I have had over the recent years with all, and how little I now know of the family.
Kind regards to all, Cheryl and Richard

To all members of Lucy’s family,
The tribute to your mum today was really special and she would have really enjoyed it. She had a very full life and whilst she went through “hard and difficult times” when living in the forest yet when she spoke about these times in later life it was always positive memories. Thank you for sharing your Mum with us at Balnarring Beach. Maree and Tom Leyden
I have fond childhood memories of my great aunt Lucy as such a loving kind person. Grateful to have known her. Condolences to the immediate family. She will be truly missed.
Thank you , to all of the May family, for enabling me to view the funeral of your Mum . Lucy and your Dad Frank, were a beaut couple well regarded by all of the forestry folk . They were my neighbours when at Marysviille and in the Dandenongs
