Beautiful service. Only the fondest of memories of Aunty Marg. Such a wonderful person. Hope she’s at peace now in the arms of Uncle John and the rest up the clan x
Michael, Jo, Ash, Tom, Maureen, Len, Kerry and families, what a fitting send off for Margaret, capturing her faith, her early years in Parkes and her working and family life in Cowra, Griffith, Birrell Lake Ulladulla, Kempsey, Gosford, Mona Vale and Gisborne. The tough times; the hard slog and the fun and conversations.
Marg was a great sister in law. She welcomed me sight unseen when Tony arrived with Adam, David, Daniel, Luke and me in tow in 1991 to stay with her and John in Kempsey. She was still reeling from Chris’ death but she opened her arms and home to me. Even after many years away, Marg could always be relied upon to fill me in on who was who and where they fitted such were her ‘contacts’ – a handy resource when I was newly married and new to Parkes. Marg was a great support to me after Tony died, ringing me frequently to check in on me.
So very touching to see you carry Margaret from the church Jo, Ash, Michael and Tom. A beautiful family farewell for a lioness of a Mother and GrandMother. Here’s to Marg happily talking the ear off those who have gone before!
My condolences to you all.
Vale Margaret xxxx
Beautiful service, sorry we couldn’t be there. Deepest sympathy to you all.

Dear Michael, Jo and family
You have our deepest condolences with the passing of Margaret. My childhood holds such cherished memories of times spent with the Bird family. Many grand finals, climbing through windows and BBQs. May she now Rest In Peace with Big Birdy and Chris.
Love to you all fondest thought and memories Maxine and family. Xx
Such a beautiful service. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person but feel very privileged I was still able to attend virtually. Sending condolences to the family. Whilst maybe not by blood, Mr and Mrs Bird were our grandparents. We are so lucky to have had them in our lives. I have so many fond memories of them both. I have not doubt Mrs Bird has been up there chatting Mr Bird’s ear off from the time they were reunited x
Lovely service, thinking of you all today, deepest condolences, love to all Di
Rest in peace Auntie Marg. You will be missed but also know there are plenty of people waiting to see you again in heaven xx
Love always
Mr and Mrs Bird were like grandparents to me. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs Bird’s passing. Sending condolences to the family. They will be greatly missed.
Very sorry to hear of Margarets passing. I spoke to her a few months ago, she didn’t say there was anything wrong.
I was at their wedding, and knew her before that.
Her husband, John worked on our farm, my dad was a close friend of his, as were the rest of my family.
We always kept in touch, cards at Christmas, and occasional telephone calls. I don’t understand why someone didn’t call me.
My deepest sympathy to Michael and family
