I had the privelege of knowing Marg through St Peter’s, first as Parishioner and then more personally as an Extra-Ordinary Minister of Communion. Over the time I visited Marg with Communion, afterwards, we spent lovely times chatting and catching up on the lastest news. Often we would talk ‘garden’ and Marg was very proud to show me her pot plants, especially her roses. We exchanged gardening tips and plants with each other. I remember Marg always had a fresh vase of flowers on her kitchen table. She gave me a mauve rose bush when my Mum died (back in Oct). So thoughtful and sweet of her.
Marg was a very special lady who made me feel welcome, cared for and appreciated. I will miss her a lot.
PS If by chance your have any of her pot plants not claimed by family I would appreciate/be happy to adopt them.
We’re truly sorry about your loss, Margaret was a lovely and very friendly woman. She’ll be sadly missed and will always be remembered. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your mother. RIP.
Our deepest sympathy to the McConville family. We had the pleasure of knowing Margaret (and Don) from St Peter’s Parish. Always a delight to meet her. God bless Margaret and Rest In Peace.
Thankyou to McConville family for making the live stream of Margaret’s funeral service available to the St Peter’s Parish Community in a time when we are unable to pay our respects by being physically present today. Margaret has been a much-loved parishioner from the very start of its formation.
Thinking of all the family and friends who couldn’t be together to celebrate the life of a wonderful woman. Lots of love and rest in peace, Grannie. Thank you for the memories, biscuits at the kitchen table and for introducing us all to the world of fridge magnet collecting. Love Chris & Jacqueline McConville
