After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
I echo my brother John’s comments above. I don’t know whether this church was able to provide videos of services prior to the virus but if not maybe that is one good thing to come of it, ie I guess it is the virus which may have stopped locals from attending Marie’s funeral service in person but it was the distance which prevented Marie’s extended family and far-flung friends from attending Derek’s service, and the virus may indirectly therefore have enabled virtual attendance at Marie’s. It was a lovely service, but (and) brought home to me that Marie has really gone, the last of the Listowel MacCarthys, and the end of an era.
A wonderful celebration of Marie’s life. Paul’s description of her early life in Ireland and the part my father Diarmuid played, standing up for her, was lovely to hear. Diarmuid’s love for Marie was enduring and she became his rock later in life. We and all Diarmuid’s children and grandchildren were fortunate to spend time with Marie and we will forever have fond memories of those times. May she rest in peace.
A beautiful and meaningful farewell for a truly wonderful lady. Frank and I so enjoyed hearing her life story, read by her son, Paul. Marie was most fortunate having such a loving and caring family. She will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.
Rest in peace Marie. I have so many happy memories with you; surrounded by family. You lived such an amazing life, and never forgot to appreciate the little things in life. I am so glad you passed peacefully, and with happiness.

A privilege to have had Marie part of our family…and to be with you as you farewelled her.
Always remembered fondly ….
