  2. Rest In Peace my dear friend. A lot of great memories were made at the pig and whistle with our own crew such as the dicko brothers.
I’m so sorry I only found out today of your passing and wish that I could have had some more good times together as we did over the 45 years we knew each other.
Deepest sympathy to Joan and family.

  3. A very touching ceremony and so special to be able to farewell and pay our respects to a great man. We met some 12 years ago after becoming neighbours and very quickly realized how blessed we were to be living right next door. The montage of Mario and Joans early days, combined with a great eulogy and stories completed the life of Mario for us beautifully.
    Sincere condolences Joan and family.
Tanya and Angus Sillar and family.

  7. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ‘attend’ Mario’s funeral. He is a man who will be greatly missed, but fortunately is free of all pain now. I already miss seeing him on the road, or having brekky in Trentham, whilst holding court. He certainly was a people magnet. We wish to convey our love and condolences to Joan and Mario’s extended family.

  8. We were very pleased to have had the opportunity to share in the celebration of Mario’s life. Thank you!
It was a beautiful service; and a fitting tribute to someone who led a full life.
And yes, he was larger than life; the life of the party always with a story to entertain.
He loved and respected his family, friends and his community.
We are glad that he is suffering no more; and is at peace.
Our condolences to Joan; Mary and Guido and their family.
