I am stuck for words.
I am very thankful that the live stream was available; that I could join. I am now left with a blank screen, but the energy emanating all around me is love.
And loss.
Take care and be kind to yourselves.
To Michelle, Emma, Mia, Adele and Jacinda
That was a beautiful service and you should all be very proud of how you spoke.
We send you all our love and are so sad about Mark’s passing.
Lets enjoy together a glass of Black Hill Sparkling Shiraz to honour Mark in the near future.
Love from your Selby neighbours, Sue and Mark

My dearly loved brother
It was so moving to watch your burial and memorial with damned COVID in the way of me attending. Mark, you were such a special man, loved by so many as you loved so many. I loved hearing about your career (you never ever boasted so I knew little!), seeing my four beautiful nieces talking about you, seeing Paula and her readings from friends, seeing Michelle light the five candles which flickered gently under your photo.
Always loved, Mark, I’ll miss you
love, from Nick xxxxx
Mark was my first manager at SGI back in 2005. It’s been several years now since we caught up in person, but I’ll always remember his smile. All my best to everyone, and thank you for live streaming the service.
Mark has always been a quirky guy with never a dull moment when we have met.
From his homemade “jukebox” via an arduino board (Spotify and Bluetooth speakers did exist) to the curry that keeps on the boil feeding the Goodwin tribe for 3 days during the middle of summer!!
Thoughts and well wishes with Mia, the girls and Michelle
When I met Mark, along side Ken, I knew who was the quieter one. Over the many years of working in the same place as Mark I developed a deep respect for him. In the way he welcomed new people to the work place & guided them when they felt lost. How he was generally soft spoken until you mentioned surfing, being in a band or family he got a little more animated particularly around a barbecue. I will miss his smile, his generous nature. I never got to sail with you Mark, but that’s ok, we talked for hours about it & that made both of us smile. Thank you for being the person you were.
