  1. A beautiful farewell , Dad would be so proud. Wonderful memories of our very dear friends and the fun times we shared over many years. Rest in Peace together now; Mark we will miss you so.

  2. On behalf of the staff at Cabrini Prahran our heartfelt condolences to all the Wheeler family.
It was a beautiful service and Mark would be proud.

For many years Mark volunteered each Friday at Cabrini Prahran. His warmth and genuineness endeared him to many patients and families but it is the staff who will miss him the most. He called the Cabrini Prahran team his ‘Cabrini family’ and the love from staff for this great man was palpable. When staff learnt of Mark’s passing, they expressed their sorrow and sadness and offered their ‘Mark memories’…how Mark made everyone feel special, how he reminded them of the importance of the work they do and how he always left others with a sense of gratitude for thIs gift of life.
Mark Wheeler…love personified…we were truly blessed to be part of your Cabrini family.
    RIP

  54. Dear Mark
I have known you since I joined Cabrini Prahran which is 2010 ; for 10 years . The first day I joined at Prahran I never forget the beautiful smile and worm welcome you gave me . Every time you came to Prahran you never forgot to stop and asked how I was doing ? We always had quick chats when we passed by but most importantly you beautiful smile talked a lot . The very last chat we had was at the Caffee when I was making a cup of tea for a patient you told me when I asked how you were “ I am doing very well , slowly but steadily “ your smile and sense of humour always remain in my heart ! I am deeply sad but I know now you are in Heaven . RIP Mark.
