  1. Beautiful celebration of such a wonderful woman . I will never forget her coaching and using her driver and nailing the 18 th hole at Rich River , enjoying many a glass wine at east Melbourne and enjoying the cricket at the G. But most of all her love for you Tom . Magic send off

  2. Tom this was such a beautiful way to celebrate Mary’s wonderful life……heartfelt words and plenty of laughs and tears. We’re heart-broken for you on your loss and thinking of you, Mary and the O’Shea & Galligan clans. Mornington is an idyllic place to be laid to rest. I have wonderful memories of my time there with you both. We’ll be thinking of you and sending you love and light. Mind yourself and hopefully see you in Ireland soon, Marie, Peter & the boys xxxx

  6. What a beautiful ceremony on your favourite beach. A wonderful send of to Mary who went far too early. Thinking of you Tom and so glad you have Lorraine and Corinna by your side over the last weeks. Our sympathy to the O’Shea family and to Kay and all the Galligans. You both welcomed our Dolan gang when they were in Australia and they often talk about the good times they had with you both. Lots of love from Sean and Teresa XXXXX

  7. Dear Tom & all the O’ Shea & Galligan families, I’m so sorry for your loss at this time. This was truly a beautiful celebration of Mary’s life at the most idyllic location, and your love shone through as bright as the sun. Celebrate those great memories often xx

  8. Tom and Mary, two of the most generous and genuine people you’ll ever meet.
It’s coming up to three years since we moved to Tassie and, although we’ve not been able to return, you’ve always been mentioned often in our home for your generosity, support and fun times.
An amazing tribute and we’re so grateful we could attend the services online.
This is now our forever home but you will always remain our forever friends.
Looking forward to the time when we can catch up for a pint & chardy at the club.

  10. Our thoughts are with you today Tom and families. The loss of your dear Mary is so saddening for yourself and so many others who’s lives she touched but we all have wonderful memories of her vibrancy and spirit that we will hold onto forever. Peter and Joy Clancy.

  11. Tom,
No words can express the sorrow at how tragically Mary’s life was cut short and the loss you feel for such an accomplished, fun loving and loving wife.
Sincere heartfelt wishes to you and extended family at this very sad time.

  12. Dear Tom,
So so sorry to hear about Mary. My thoughts have been with you and both families, since I heard. A life cut short, so unfair, but at least she lived that life in its fullest form. And thankfully, so many good memories to cherish… but just so hard to grasp…

Thinking of you, much love, Michele

  13. I’m soooo there with you in Spirit, Tom. Such a relief to see Carina with you on Tuesday

Check out ‘Hymn to her’ it’s been running in my head for days now … Chrissie Hynde nails in my humble opinion
    Luv Ya
