Max was a kind, gentle man who thought deeply and loved and laughed with every last drop of his life force. My condolences. Thank you for this recording as I was overseas at the time of his death and unable to join in the celebration of his years.
Oh how I’ve laughed and cried with you all watching and listening to this lovely farewell to Maxwell!
Max and I met in Verona, Italy, as we both sang tenor with Pavarotti in 1990 and we sailed the Mediterranean right afterwards, with Max being the ultimate tour guide and friend – he was Pan reincarnated and he created magical memories as he played the flute to adoring tourists in the amphitheater of the ancient city of Ephesus in Greece, as eagles soared above (Zeus was approving!)
What a blessing in human form he was! ⭐️ His love of Spain (the Sagittarian country) and flamenco – I will never forget his 50th birthday gift to himself was to travel through Spain to learn Flamenco in tavernas: in his own words “they say I have the ‘duende’ you know”.
Duende: power to attract through personal magnetism and charm, having soul, a heightened state of emotion, expression and heart.
Oh dearest Maxwell, you sure do! Rest in Peace Xoxox ⭐️
Sincere condolences to Betty, Robyn, David, all Max’s family and many friends, with fond memories of our days at St. David’s Church, Moorabbin from 1966 to 1985. Sorry we could not attend your farewell in person, but enjoyed being there in spirit while viewing the ceremony, the speeches, music and photos via the love stream link.
May Max rest in eternal peace.
With our sincere sympathy and best wishes to you all,

Vale our dearest friend beloved Maxwell
It was so heartwarming to share in our beloved Max’s life celebration, starting with his cherished smoking ceremony and l felt for me that it really captured the true essence of our most colourful wonderful Max as we all knew and loved him! His Spirit was very present. ✨⭐️ Beautiful heartfelt speeches from family and friends including many photos and Max’s chosen music and commentary. So wonderful to hear his voice too! We danced to his favourite music afterwards! Wishing our beloved Maxwell abundant and blessed peace, joy, happiness and unconditional love in his new afterlife and much gratitude for the end of all his suffering ❤️ May Maxwell grace the heavens and paint the afterlife brightly with his most wondrous and colourful, highly adventurous, knowledgeable, passionate, rich, yet gentle, kind, sensitive, loving essence, soul and spirit
AHO! We will never forget you beloved Max.. there is no one like you! ✨⚡️
It’s nearly 3.30am and I am so glad to have been part of remembering and celebrating Max with everyone in Australia, thanks to the live stream. The tributes and photos reminded me of our wonderful time together in London, all those years ago. Will miss you forever, my beautiful friend Max. Sheila

I am so sad I cannot be with you all in person to celebrate this wonderful man’s life but illness prevents me. He was a delight to know and my life is diminished by his loss.
Blessings on your journey on the other side, dear Maxwell. You deserve some peace.
