  9. Such an incredibly beautiful celebration for one very special lady.
I first met Mel when Hugo & Lulu started Kinder at Middle Park Kindergarten in 2005.
Lulu quickly took a very strong liking to Hugo, so we became friends.
Mel was always such a happy, kind , fun, vibrant, positive & caring person & I loved her from the first time we met.
Our 2nd children Sam & Millie were similar ages , both our husbands surfed & we shared a similar love for the beach.
Sam however took a very strong liking to Mel! I fondly remember a flight to the GC when we were going to see the Andersons at Suffolk Park.
Sams main concern was where he would be sleeping, as he insisted it would be with Mel- he was 3 or 4 then.
We’ve had many wonderful , funny , memorable times together with our families, and I cherish these memories so very much.
My heart breaks for you Nick, Hugo, Millie & Asha.
Sending all my love to you all now & always
    Daniella xo

  10. Dearest Nick, Asha, Millie and Hugo. So deeply sad to learn of the devastating loss of your beautiful life partner and your incredible mum, Mel. All your beautiful stories of love, joy and a life so well lived that you shared today completely resonate with my lasting impressions of her as a truly warm and special person, and just the most adoring, loving and proud mum. Sending love to you all, and to Mel’s parents, brother and extended family and friends. From Edie, Lucy, Alby, Ava and Isla McLean

  13. I am so saddened by the passing of the beautiful Melanie Anderson. I remember her so fondly as I convinced her to come and work with me at Mojo. She was kind, caring, smart and the sweetest girl in the agency, Never said a bad word about anyone and only looked for the good in everyone. I watched her love blossom with the naughty Nick (I thought he wasn’t good enough for her). But he proved me wrong. You guys built a beautiful family and I send my heartfelt love to Nick, Milly Asha and Hugo. Please reach out if there’s anything I can share to help ease the pain. I don’t know how we lost touch…Mel will always be in my heart.

  14. Dear Rob and Dee

  20. Mel was so special to me, I met her when she was working at FCB and I was at Universal McCann. She was my mentor and someone I looked up to and aspired to. We got along so well and I remember visiting her when Hugo was born. We worked again together at m2M with lots of fun times. She was the kindest and most beautiful person, I’m so glad she got to meet my son Marco mid last year and she was so happy for me. Life is cruel and she deserved to live another 50 years, however she will be forever in our hearts.

Sending all my love to Nick, Hugo, Millie & Asha.

  29. I was so sad to hear of Mel’s passing. She was a beautiful person to me. It was a long time ago that we worked together, but she left a very big impression. Especially when it came to being kind and patient, and great at what she did. I remember that Hugo was very young when we worked together, and as a working mum, I loved that she always put him and her family above all else. Sending love to Nick, Hugo, Millie and Asha and Mel’s wider family and friends.

  30. Dearest Nick – sitting by a river on the north coast – with you in spirit and as Big Tone said in our group chat – One Love and – as you always say to me at the end of our chats – God Bless

  31. At this sad time, for all of us who knew and loved Melanie, we remember a stylish, graceful lady. My first memory of Melanie was in 1990 in the tropical surroundings of Fiji. My brother and I became friends with Melanie, Ange, as well as Robert and Dee. At the end of that holiday, we all exchanged numbers and addresses on the back of “The Marlin Bar” drinks coasters. Where my grandparents would put on an impromptu floor show every night.

It was very humbling to be invited to stay at the McKinnon household in Beaumaurice. My grandmother drummed into me the importance of manners when dropping me at Geelong station for my ride up to the big smoke. It was Melanie who showed me Chapel Street, Decota 501 and more. Being a bogan from Geelong, all these things were part of my inspiration to see the world. Thank you, Melanie.

I would also like to extend my deepest sympathies to Dee, Rob, Peter, Nick, Kristan, Asha, Milly, Hugo, Jamieson, Finlay, Tully, and Sonny. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Simon Fuller
