A truly lovely service for Merinda which I was able to attend. We became friends at the ACCC and she knew my brother at Ormond!

What a wonderful tribute to Merinda!
We knew her in Abu Dhabi, and saw her strengths shinning through in then, and enjoyed her company very much.
What a bright light she leaves through the ones she loved.

I was very sorry to hear about Merinda. I met her while working at the ACCC and we kept in touch for many years after mainly at Somers where we also had a house, although unfortunately we lost touch in recent years. I will always be grateful to Merinda for introducing our family to Irish Terriers, we are now onto our second one.
That was a lovely service.

Dear Peter,
It was so wonderful to be able to join the special celebration of Merinda’s life online from Abu Dhabi. I have such special memories of all the fun I had with Merinda ( and yourself Peter) in Abu Dhabi, especially at The Club. I remember too our fun trip with you both to Fujairah and also the quiz night in the Sports Bar which much to Merinda’s disgust we didn’t win!
Sending you and the family love – Tracy and Mike xxx

Do not stand
By my grave, and weep
I am not there,
I do not sleep —
I am the thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry —
I am not there,
I did not die.
by Clare Harner (Lyon)1934.
My thoughts and love are with you all.
I wish I could be there in person to celebrate the life of such an amazing person .
