  6. Michael was always such a ray of sunshine; from his work experience days with us to our frequent chats in the aisles of IGA. Such a beautiful tribute to such a special young man. My love and thoughts to Allyson and family x

  7. I first met Micky and his cheeky grin during our JDs drinking days in our early-mid twenties, and that’s where most of my memories of him come from. Today, I regret not having had the chance to get to know him better outside of those times. Watching the live streamed service, I was deeply moved by the heartfelt words spoken by his family, friends, and colleagues. It’s clear that Micky was a special person, and his loss will be deeply felt. Rest in peace, Michael. You were truly one of the good ones. ♥
P.S – I will endeavour to boo Collingwood less just for you mate ☺

  8. Our deepest sypathy and sending all of our love to Vic, Alison and family and to all those that loved Michael.
Although we watched the livestream, you could feel the love in the room. Michael was such a kind, generous man who was impossible not to love and have a laugh with. Even though he was “Vic’s little brother” we always thought he was awesome to have around and always made us laugh ❤

    DON’T MISS ME MORE
Don’t miss me more than once a day, For life is moving fast.
Don’t wish all of your time away, Dreaming of the past.
Don’t waste the moment looking at,
The things I left behind me.
I’m not within those walls or boxes
The heart is where you’ll find me.
Don’t dread to say my name, sweet one, Don’t fear the wrath of sadness.
Just take the love you had for me, And turn it into gladness.
Don’t worry when my birthday comes
    Don’t feel me missing more.
I’m filled with love you’re sending me, Just as I was before.
Some days your anger will rush out, Your tears will find their way.
To me, wherever I am then.
    I’ll soothe them all away.
When I am gone don’t miss me more, Than once, or twice a day.
There’s so much life to live, my love.
I’m with you, all the way.
