  1. I had the pleasure of meeting Michael when he came to work at our firm. He was a wonderful , caring and intelligent individual who was able to relate to all people effortlessly. We had some laughs throughout the years and I will forever be grateful for having shared these times. May he Rest In Peace and condolences to his family and loved ones in such a difficult time.

  2. A truly beautiful celebration of Michael’s life; such a tribute to a talented young man who clearly positively touched so many others. Cathy, Steve, Kieran, James and Tristan – your love for, and pride in, Michael makes this earthly farewell all the sadder. But we know Michael’s spirit will never leave you.
Our sympathy and love to you all, and to your extended family and friends.
    Rest in peace, Michael.

  3. An absolute beautiful and fitting tribute to my Nephew Michael. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Taken way too early our beautiful Nephew and Cousin. I still remember one of the times our Family visited your Family in Wangaratta and my thoughtful Brother organised for his mate to come over with an Ambulance so Brendon and Callum could see one up close and you were all sitting on the front of it with big smiles. You also looked after your little cousins and made them feel welcome, along with Kieran, James and Tristan, and the fun you all had in the swimming pool. You are a bright shining light who will shine on forever.

You have touched and changed so many people’s lives for the better in your 34 years.

Forever in our hearts, be at peace now Michael. Please look after Pa and laugh with him once again. Until me meet again.

Lots of Love Aunty Suzanne (Sue), Uncle Jeff, Cousins Brendon and Callum Bayliss.

Every time I seen Michael he was always harbouring an energy of exuberant light and a smile to match, he was a beautiful soul who had so much wisdom and kindness to share. He will never be forgotten and will always hold dear memories in the hearts of each and every person he encountered in this lifetime.

  7. Thank you Michael for your kindness. I will forever remember you as the solicitor on the other side that did not belittle me. You were an incredible lawyer and a gentle soul. I am sorry the profession failed you. I hope your heart is relieved of the sadness. May you rest in peace.

  8. I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I was lucky enough to sit next to Michael on the first day of the Uni year and we became fast friends with the help of a beer festival we attended later that day with our other friend Kelsey. I was lucky to have his friendship and support throughout University and I have so many fond and funny memories and I can still hear his laugh. One of my favourites is spending his bday with him and yourselves in Falls where he patiently taught me to snowboard for the first time. It was a long time ago now but is still a weekend I think of often. Michael was such a fiercely intelligent, sweet, thoughtful, insightful, generous, quirky and complex boy and I’m grateful to have been a part of his large life. I’m thinking of all of you.

I hope his legacy and his memory lives on with each of you.
