  1. Carla, Grant and Jake,

On behalf of all of Pakenham Consolidated School, I am sending our deepest condolences. We are saddened to hear of Mitchell’s passing. Myself and Jake Spruhan who were lucky enough to have Mitchell in our Y5 cohort (Jake also at his time at Officer SS), as well as myself and Jarrod Jende having taught him in -Performing Arts and PE through his primary school years. We have all been talking recently about our memories of Mitch. He was such a bright spark. Always smiling, slightly bashful, and certainly cheeky. Such a memorable student. We are all, along with our colleagues, sending you all love and strength. A beautiful service today and lovely tributes of Mitch.

  2. Dear Karla, Grant & Jake
My deepest condolences to you all. I was lucky enough to have been the babysitter to a very lovable and charismatic little boy. My heart breaks for you. He will always be looking down on you all. Sending love and strength.

  3. All I can do is send my heartfelt condolences to Carla, Grant, Jake, Hannah and families.

Having buried my own child I understand all to well how hard today was and you all were so amazing. Every single person in that room cried, smiled, laughed but mostly we all felt the love.

Mitchell was an exceptional young man, a true credit to his parents and Hannah. He will be missed greatly.

He was such a great young man who I had the pleasure of getting to know in VCAL last year. He was always friendly cooperative and was always smiling. He was so worthy of the VCAL student of the year award. A great young man taken too soon.
