  1. So many memories in my heart of times with Murray and Anna as my singing teachers, and in their home singing with the Mardardy Singers. A privilege to have been blessed by their friendship for so many years. My heartfelt condolences to Gill, Gilllian and Mischee, all of your children, and all of the extended family. You all adored Murray. We all did xoxo

I watched the recording and was permeated by a wave of love.
    Definitely a life worth living.
It gives hope, in these challenging times, to see how much love and good can stay, even after the physical body is gone.
Thanks Gill for your honest and touching words, he loved you and you loved him, so wonderful to witness. And thanks for organizing this wonderful celebration.

  4. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Murray was a great inspiration as a Yoga teacher and friend. Even to this day, we remember his wisdom and warmth, even though we have not seen him for many years.

He inspired us to be more loving human beings — what he has left behind lives on in our hearts.

  5. Beautiful memorial service to Murray.
Vijay once said of Murray, ‘he learnt a lot from me’ – because of his humble posture of learning.
    Keep up your courage,
    From the heart,

  6. Vale Murray – such a kind and generous soul. I had never met anyone like you and you inspired me to be a better person and to seek greater understanding of life and how to live it. Love and condolences to Gill, Gillian and Michy.

  7. I watched the service livestream and was deeply moved. Thank you to everyone who shared their memories and appreciation of Murray.

I first knew Murray when I began singing lessons as an anxious 20-year-old. His kindness and patience not only helped to release my strangled voice, they also set me up to become a more self-confident person. Through my singing lessons I became interested in yoga, and through yoga I met many life-long friends, including my husband, Alan. Thank you Murray.

Sending love to Jill and to Murray’s daughters, Gillian and Michelle, their partners and children.

    A beautiful man.

  8. Sincere condolences to Murray’s family and friends.
Thank you Lee for being such a lovely and sensitive Celebrant and support to Gill.
Well done Gill – you managed to make us smile amidst our tears.
We appreciated hearing more of Murray’s life and the many pearls of wisdom he imparted to so many – including Michael and me.
    Sincerely
    Susan

  9. What a beautiful tribute and evidence of a life well lived. Graeme is sorry he didn’t have the pleasure of meeting such a special man. There was a lot of love and respect at the service and his memory will live on. We are so sorry we couldn’t be there but very proud of you Michael.

  10. What a wonderful celebration of Murray’s life – so much that I did not know about my cousin, it will always be a regret that our lives took such different paths. The glorious summer holidays at Mollymook with Murray and Max are etched in my memory forever and it has been been a privilege to have a cousin who has been such an inspiration to so many.
Thank you for allowing us to share the memories.

  16. My condolences to Murray’s family.

I have composed, and sent, some words of remembrance to Des and
hopefully they will be read out aloud at Murray’s tribute on Sunday February 27th; and read out in basso-profundo manner to honour Murray’s own sophisticated and refined approach to living.

    Sincerely,
    terry tilley.
