We will forever remember playing with all your wiz bang puzzles, challenges, trinkets and treasures, slinky races down the stairs, playing cricket in the garden at xmas time with Paula’s boys, searching for lost tennis ball in the natural bush gardens, science experiments on the deck, searching for crabs down on the beach.
Will always remember the time you yelled at me for drinking your home made vodka wrong… Aunty Myra proceeded to pour a 60ml glass of vodka after dinner, I was going out for the evening and downed it one. Myra yelling at me you’ve done it all wrong…she then continued to sip her home made rocket fuel!! 😉
You will be missed, but your memories are everlasting. Will think of you every time I open the door at mum and dads, looking at your amazing stain glass panel!
Thank you, Paula and Mike for the privilege of joining your mother’s service. It was wonderful to hear and see examples of Myra’s extraordinary intellect, special talents and love for her family.
A first for many of us to participate in a funeral service online but we felt very much as though we were there. We only knew Myra in her later years at Probus where she contributed greatly to the life of the club with her organisation of Dine-Outs and Outings as well as many years as Newsletter Editor.
We will remember her friendly, outgoing and welcoming personality. She leaves a big hole.
It was lovely to be part of the Service and her farewell.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of Myra’s farewell. We shall miss her very much. We spent many happy hours in her company especially her lead light apprentice, Maurice!
Dear Paula and Michael. Thank you so much for streaming My’s funeral. It was a privilege to join with you and your families. There is a big hole in the world which she filled, and I will miss my chats with her, and her lovely deep voice on the phone. How wonderful to see you all, and Col and Jenny as well. You all look the same, just a little more mature, shall we say. I have found quite a few photos of Myra while sorting out my photographs – mostly in Newhaven, with the kids and Doug when we visited. Let me know if you would like copies and I will send them across. Again, please accept my condolences on Myra’s passing. She would have enjoyed the service, flowers and the irony of the Covid-19 restrictions!!! Keep well and hopefully will see you one of these days.
Michael, Paula, and family. We feel very blessed to have been able to share in this service with you and learn so much about the life of Myra and of your family. Our deepest sympathies for your loss. You remain in our thoughts.
To Myra – so lovely and intelligent. Thinking of you all at this time. Also thinking of “FAM” as I called Fouke and, to this day, how I always remember what he taught me. Loved the speech and the photos. I have never seen Myra’s art work – it is truly amazing!

Lovely service, and to see all the photos brought back many memories of the pilgrimages across the Nullarbor.
So glad we were able to attend from far away, it was a very moving service.
Goodbye Myra we will miss you.
