I had the pleasure of knowing Neil in GST. Like all the comments Neil was know as Mr Fantabulous, and the “Guru”. I will have treasured memories of assisting him with the 2nd Flr Tea Club and Neil organising the most memorable christmas morning teas for the 2nd flr from the tea club profits, the occasional trips to the dandy market with him having us in fits of laughter with his stories and whitty comments and even after he retired, him yelling out the window of his car at me walking into work and looking up only to see his marvellous smile. I also had a wonderful conversation with him last year at an ATO lunch and admired his courage and positivity. May I offer my sincere condolences to your family for the loss of such a rare gem of a gentlemen.
Alison. Thanks for aptly referring to my soul mate a rare gem. He was a one in a million man, who I was blessed to have married. I am pleased that you shared your experiences with him. People always saw the two of us oldies walk to the market on weekends and he always chatted with people along the way. I shall miss him all the days of my life.
I am Ganesh and was a colleague of Neil at tax office. Please accept my family’s sincere sympathies. Neil is a great personality. He is warm, smiling, calm, friendly, social minded and a good team player. A rare package you would come across. Neil organised at times single handedly our sectional social functions and never interest in favour or praise. Shocked many when we learned about his illhealth. Still he regularly catch up with friendly meals with friends even after he retired. So I met him an year ago over a meal with tax friends. He was still smiling and brave. He said I was working on it bravely. I admired his positive attitude. I meant to visit him soon Covid relaxation allowed. It was not to be. Good and Gentleman and gentle soul. Family should be proud of him and I am sure his great impression on us will comfort us in this difficult time in a little way. I pray Neil good soul rest is eternal peace. We are missing you Neil.
Hi Ganesh
Thank you for the condolences and more importantly the glowing comments sbout my wonderful husband. He certainly was a unique person, a rare gem. He will be sorely missed by us all all.
Ruth & Family
Thinking of you, and wishing all of you hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain.
When you speak of Nari, speak not with tears, for thoughts of him should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for his life was rich because of you.
Such a strong man will never truly be gone, for he has left a loving presence in our hearts.
Dear Christabelle, Vivian & Chrys-Ellen.
We grieve for losing our pillar of strength. He tended to us all and the void created now will be hard to fill. It feels like we’re sailing in a sinking ship. However, I am confident he will steady the ship of life for us.
We will certainly cherish wonderful memories that are indelibly etched in our memories. We are blessed to have him in our lives. His presence will always be acutely felt by us.

Dear Eleanor,
Neil was always eager to ensure that all visitors especially those from overseas, had a wonderful time and he would go out of his way for this. Thanks for your condolences.
Dearest Ruth and family. Such a moving service for your beloved husband and Dad. I was privileged to have known Neil and honoured to have been your bridesmaid/maid of honor at your wedding. Nari/Neil to me was an absolute saint even at first meeting him. Our friendship Ruth goes way back to our high school days. Even if our keeping in touch has wavered we can always pick up where we left off you and Neil always had a special place in my heart. I am deeply saddened by Neil’s passing and pray that God bless you to continue with your strong faith. The undying love you and Neil had for each other will keep him close to you forever. Our heartfelt condolences once again and may Neil’s dear soul rest in peace. All my love. Corrine
We certainly have known each other decades. I am deeply honoured and touched by the expression of sentiments about Neil.
I feel blessed to have married him and which woman doesn’t feel proud to be told by someone that her husband worships the ground on which she treads? We’ve had our hardships like any married couple but the magical moments far out weigh those.
He was a devoted family man who did the best for his family.
I hope we do keep in touch.
I’m sure Neil is enjoying the company of Angels and Saints in his Heavenly abode and he is smiling down on us.
Love
Ruth
Dearest Corrine,
Thsnk you for your condolences and lovely sentiments.
Neil always felt indebted to you for your kindness to me when I migrated and he would have been there in your time of adversity. Yes we do go a long way in our relationship with each other and I do value your friendship.
I appreciate your kind words about Neil and I do feel blessed to have married him. He was the wind beneath my wings and had a calming influence in my life. We did have our peaks and troughs in our life, but our wonderful memories certainly surpass everything. It is very rare that a woman gets told by someone that her husband worships the ground she treads.
I feel humbled that he was a wonderful family man but had the time for anyone in need.
Love and God bless
Ruth

Daniele. Neil loved the line dancing classes. I think the ladies had a soft spot for him as he smilingly washed the crockery. I was the envy of some of the ladies. Unfortunately, he couldn’t come to line dancing because the nerve endings in his feet were damaged.
Neil certainly had an impact with many and we are all going to miss him. I will sorely miss my soul mate.

Dear Ruth, Evelyn sent me the link to follow the Service, which I very much appreciated, to honour the wonderful, kind man I came to know during our Line Dancing classes. I came to know & experienced some of the good qualities expressed about him during this time. Remember fondly, how he never forgot to see that the jugs were on in time for Recess at 11am & how he, always, helped with the washing /drying of mugs used & helped Lorraine, unfailingly, with loading the equipment into her car etc. Always the gentleman, kind, considerate & respectful of others. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY. GOD BLESS YOU & GIVE YOU STRENGTH AT THIS TIME.
Our deepest sympathy to you Ruth and family. We will miss Neil’s big smile and his sense of humour. May he rest in peace in God’s arms.

I never really worked with Neil but I got to know him at the breakfasts the ATO prepared for the needy in Dandenong. Neil was always a willing volunteer and would help with whatever needed to be done. The last time I saw him was having a coffee in the cafe behind the office. He had driven there because he was unable to walk the short distance and despite the pain he was in, he still had a smile on his face. It’s that smile and positive attitude that I’ll always remember. Sincere condolences to Ruth and the rest of the family.
We are deeply saddened on the passing of Neil, and offer our sincere condolences to all of you. May our Blessed Lord and our Holy Mother comfort you’ll in this time of sorrow and grant all of you the grace and strength to bear this great loss.

Dear Ruth & Family, Elizabeth, Bibiana, Clothilda & Theresa,
Thinking of you, and wishing all of you hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain.

Corrine
Dearest Corrine,
We certainly have known each other decades.
Ruth

Dearest Ruth & fly..On behalf of my mom Aunty Gladys and my two sisters Lynette and Dagma I send you all our deepest sympathies on the passing away of your beloved husband and darling dad. Although we didn’t have an opportunity of meeting Neil we had heard a lot about his very loving and brotherly personality from the family. May his soul rest in peace. We will view the streaming of the service on June 15. Take care.
Neil, I found you as a very humble person, very good neighbour over all as a mentor. Your presence is not any more with us, but you will be remembered forever in our life, RIP

Yes he certanly was Mr Fantabulous to many. He did have wonderful friends at the ATO and enjoyed all those lunches. Do hold onto those memories.
Thanks for your kind words Atil. Yes Mr Fantabulous was a unique person. He enjoyed work and the people. Thank God though he quit work and we enjoyed our travels from 2015 thru to the April 2018. I hate to think of what memories I’d have to cling to, had he continued working.
I’m pleased he was well liked at ATO too.
