  3. Olive and Merv were dear friends almost like surrogate parents to me since we moved from NZ and to Warburton in 2001. I spent many years in their place each week having a bible study, I think we worked our way through the whole bible over the years. Often I would stay and talk afterwards sometimes even being offered a meal. When they moved into the nursing home they would always attend worships and Sabbath School classes, Merv often the first to offer a hymn number to sing and always a different number, as they sang to my flute playing.
They were also good friends with my wife Lynda’s Aunty Nola and Cyrus Adams as they worked with them in the islands.
We will miss them both but know they are now sleeping awaiting that great day when our Lord returns.
    Even so, Come Lord Jesus

  4. We have been so privileged to be a part of Olive & Merv’s life. They have been such a wonderful help to our family and we send our very deep love to the family at this time. With our sincere wish that God will be your comfort as we look to a better day coming. Ray & Margaret Southon and family
