My family and all of us at Corrs send our love and respects. It felt very inadequate to be watching today so remotely. Only Peter could have found the words to express how sad and surreal we feel. The Horsham footy team was much maligned.
Such a sad day. Simon and I send our sincerest condolences to a wonderful family at this time of loss. Peter was indeed a special man full of wisdom and humour and we are all better off from knowing him. Lovely service wish I could have been there to hug you all. All our love Simon and Jennie Fallon
I watched today’s funeral with great sadness about the passing of my friend, Peter. Paul’s eulogy was a wonderful tribute to him. I only got to know Peter when he was 80 or so, but we formed a close friendship and he was a wonderful and generous mentor to me.
Peter was one of a kind and I will miss him very much.
Hi Stephen, David, Chris, Paul, Robert and Marcus,
Condolences to you all for your loss… I have such vivid fond memories of childhood visits to your home and then later much fewer visits as an adult. Peter was larger than life to me as a child but in a wonderful not scary way! He was a great man .. and always so warmly and generously welcomed me (as did Jen). Like Charles I would have liked to have been there. Warm regards Josephine Gwynn.
Dear Members of the O’Callaghan Family,
We have watched today’s live stream of Peter’s funeral with great sadness that circumstances could not permit us to be present. The service was very moving and beautiful and we pass on our condolences and best wishes to the whole extended O’Callaghan family. Peter was a great man and a best friend to our family. As you will miss him, so shall we. It was an honor to have had him in our lives and we feel very privileged to have known him as we did. We pass on to all of you our condolences at this very sad time. If there is anything we can ever assist you with please get in touch with us. The Friday lunch will certainly continue in Peter’s honor.
With kinds regards,
Paul & Anna Lacava & Family
To the O’Callaghan family, what a very sad day. I have such great memories of the association between our families. I thought your parents were two of the nicest and most welcoming people I knew growing up. I know my parents had great regard for them. My father borrowed your dad’s wig and gown for my admission ceremony and Dad and I were very grateful to himt!
Paul’s eulogy was lovely and such a great way to remember your dad and mum.
Stephen, David, Chris, Paul, Robert and Marcus
Sorry not to be there today. Your father was a wonderful fellow, generous in every way and greatly to be missed. Good job with the eulogy, Paul although I know you all contributed. Your “Mum’s coming” story was the bit I recognised the most. You’ve got lots of good times to remember him by.

Thank you, Peter, for the privilege of being a lifelong friend of a bloke who has lead an exceptional life.
