Hi Jenny and family,
Im very sorry to learn of Michaels death. I feel very fortunate to have known him for so long, I think he was the finest person I ever knew, and have thought that for a long time. I never saw a moment when he wasnt doing his best, working his hardest, acting with perfect love. Its sad he is gone but the main thing is he was here and you built a perfect faith filled life with him, he leaves a lot behind. Best wishes and love. Dale Jackman

Dear family Wishart,
How sad and pained we are to see the grief caused by the death of your dearly loved father and husband. But how happy we are to have know such a generous and warm hearted man and to have the privilege of his friendship and companionship while worshipping together at Donvale Presbyterian. Thank you for making it possible for us to join in this service of thanksgiving and farewell. We send you our love and may the sweet presence of Jesus enter your lives to give you comfort and cheer.

Sending heartfelt love and sympathy to Jenny and family. Michael was one of a small number of inspirational greats in my life. So sad to hear belatedly of his death. I have no doubt he is at peace with the Lord he loved but I know the parting is sad for those left behind. Jenny you married a giant among men. Thank God and praise him for his grace and mercy. Love into eternity Sondrae & Keith Johnson .
Dear Jenny and all Michael’s family, Ray and I send our sincere condolences to you all. It was so thoughtful of you to organise for those of us who could not be present to be able to watch the funeral service online. As a cousin of Michael’s, it was lovely to listen in and recall so many family memories. I am so sad for you all but know you will support each other well in the difficult times ahead.
Love and blessings, Anne
To the whole Wishart family, May the Lord continue to uphold each of you. We rejoice that Micheal is with the Father, and that you might look forward to being reunited in Christ one day. We praise God for his faithful service and raising a family to love and serve the Lord. May you find comfort and peace in the actions, prayers and support given at this time.
Dear Jenny and entire family of Michael.
A Prayer.
Where I came from is where I am going
Where I came from is where I am going
Bless my spirit
Bless my body
As we part
My book has reached its final chapter
Let me end it with beautiful words
My hope is in the Most Merciful
Receive me
When next I see, let me see You
My joy and satisfaction is in the Eternal
When next I feel, let me feel You
Grace covers me
Love lifts me up
My book has reached its final chapter
Let me end it with beautiful words
To those I leave behind
Do not grieve or suffer long
Take up the work of this world with pure hearts
Let Kindness be your Truth
As my book closes in on itself
Let me smile, and speak beautiful words
Thank you Creator for this life
Amen
I go in Peace with Mercy and Compassion
Love to you all from Jennifer and Bill Hansen and all our family.

Thank you so much for making the service available on the net. Being away on vacation, it was good to be part of it. May you continue to know the Lords grace and love as you do life without Michael, and bear testimony to His goodness. We give thanks for Michael’s life and ministry. We have fond memories of him.
The Lord bless you all as a family.

To the Wishart family,
What a wonderful Christ-exalting service in memory of Mr. Wishart!
I have wonderful memories of your Dad coming around to our Balwyn house and fixing up the kitchen, as well as welcoming me whenever I visited your house! I’m so grateful for his care of Nick through our time at Brighton.
I’m praying for you as your miss your Dad. Tia, your memories of your Dad’s dedication to teaching you God’s Word, were such a wonderful testimony to his love for you all, and for Scripture. Lots of love!
Joy
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May God give you comfort and strength and may you rest in the knowledge of being together again at the foot of His throne. Much love, William, Claire and Ada Kentler
Dearest Tia (and the Wishart family), my deepest condolences. Josephine was able to be in attendance and myself, Calvin and Evangeline are at home watching through the stream.
It was such a God honoring service and really beautiful memories and words shared from everyone. You all must be extremely proud of your dad and all the people that loved him so much. Look forward to getting to know him properly when we are all in glory.
Our thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to be with you as you grieve and spend time together as a family.
Yours Faithfully,
Adam Bell
Really sad for all of the family and friends who are hurting right now. The times I met Michael most often was in the hospital where I worked- mostly he was visiting patients, and once he was a patient. He was always lovely and kind and I have enjoyed knowing some of his children over the years (through PYV things). My love and prayer for comfort for all the lovely Wishart family.
Tamara (used to be Blackwood)
P.S. I was glad I could watch from Oregon, USA (where I am living now with my husband).
