  1. My condolences with the passing of Richard. One thing I liked about Richard was that he was so genuine.
I always appreciated when he messaged me while I was in the hospital.

  3. A lovely send off for a great man. Although living on opposite sides of the world and not seeing each other that often over the years, it always felt so loving to be in your company, even when the stick was flying.
You were able to make everyone feel special when they were with you .

One of my earliest memories was when Gareth and myself stayed with you and Aunty Kay in Gravesend. Mum,Dad and Bean were staying at your hotel and there was a fire. I must have only been 6 or so and so worried and scared about them getting harmed but you calmed me down and I remember watching you leave to go and rescue them, that stayed with me forever and always looked upon you as a hero.

I will forever be grateful to have had you as an Uncle and as a friend. Enjoy your spitfire up there tonight with Andy and know your Kay and the rest of the family did you proud today.

Uncle Dickie has left the building but the world is a better place for having had you in it. Love you big man

  10. Sincere condolences to Kay and family. A wonderful man, husband and friend. I met Richard when my partner at the time, Ross, and I attended his marriage to Kay in Henly on Thames where we stayed in a school dorm. It was so cold.
My partner, Suchat, my sister, Diane and her family all send their love and thoughts.
    Vale Richard and RIP.

  11. So very sad to hear of Richard’s passing, a man of many talents including cooking, he absolutely without question adored his family both in Australia and the UK, he loved to watch his Bombers play, he loved to be surrounded by friends, he loved laying on the floor and within 2 minutes snoring so loud we would move rooms, he loved crazy jokes and had a wicked laugh, his 2 boys Paul and Andrew (dec), and their respective families were his world but without doubt his wife Kay was his universe. A very special love for 40 years. You were a great friend and brother-in-law Richard ( we called each other outlaws) the world is a poorer place without you however heaven is richer for your presence. We know you won’t be alone when you arrive, Andy (dec) will be front and centre waiting to give you a hug. My love goes to Kay, Paul, Sarah, Vanessa, Gary , Richard’s UK family and all his friends on this sad day.
Love to you always Richard from your outlaw sister in law Fiona xxxxxx
