Thank you for sharing Richard’s memorial service with us all.
I was fortunate to sit near to Richard at City of Melbourne for 8 years. He was so very patient and generous with his time and transfer of knowledge. I knew I could ask Richard any question regarding land in the city and he would know it like the back of his hand. He was so unassuming and really was the ‘King’.I will upgrade my ‘reds cupboard’ and toast to a great man on the 17th of June!
My deepest sympathies to Richard’s family and close friends, his legacy lives on.
Daniel, Scott Graham and all the speakers, well done. What a fantastic tribute to a great guy, whom left his mark with all of us !
I will always fondly remember Christmas Day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and all birthdays as special occasions which represented great opportunities to work through the cellar, lingering much longer than we should of . Sadly gone too soon, but always in my memories.
Only new Richard for a short time. Had the privilege of him travelling to Bali with us on a couple of occasions. He was wonderful individual its amazing how someone can have a influence on someone life in such a short time. Such a wonder man.
What a lovely service and tribute. To all the speakers thank you and well done on so accurately describing Richard and bringing back the lovely memories.
A great service thank you, fitting for a great man. Richard was a pleasure to work & socialise with and what was said in remembrance today confirms the wonderful characteristics known in the office.
Richard will be missed, but fondly remembered, David.

All those lovely memories will help sustain you all and keep him close.

Celebration of life as Richard lived it. Thanks for allowing us to hear of his later years, as we remember him as a young lad full of mischief and a knowledgeable smile of the joke that had been played.
Love to you Karen and the boys Scott and Daniel.
Thinking of you cousin
Deb and Karen Garton
