A beautiful tribute for a wonderful life. I am sorry I was unable to attend in person. Lesley and family, I am very sad for your loss. Ric was a unique individual. To share time with him was a gift. I was one of those fortunate enough to enjoy that experience. His passing leaves an big emptiness. Fortunately there are many grand memories to help fill it.
That was such a lovely service to celebrate Ric’s life, he was a lovely cousin, love to you all from your Durham family xx

Although it’s the middle of the night here in the UK, it was important for me to be with you – albeit virtually – at this time and share the wonderful tributes to a beautiful man, colleague and friend.

Such a lovely guy – an incredible mixture of strength, modesty and engagement. A private man with a great sense of humour. When Ric first met Lesley and started seeing her, his Canberra friends knew something was up – and we even started a ‘book’ on the person he was seeing. Ric laughed and keep the joke going for ages. His relationship with Lesley was lovely to witness. Much love Anne-Marie
A very moving service for a very special man. I will miss him but his passion and his loves live on.
Such a lovely service, such a lovely man….so sad that he has gone. He made a huge difference in so many people’s lives including me. I will miss him with all my heart.
Ric was such a wonderful person, and always made time for family, no matter the distance. I will miss him greatly.
