Andy and I, along with Carmel, would like to thank everyone for their very kinds thoughts, wishes and memories of Bob.
He thought the world of all of you, and secretly (actually, probably quite publicly) would be loving the fanfare and attention he is getting.
Thank you all for taking the time to not only watch the service, but in taking time to leave your kind words.
He will be missed, always.
Stu, Andy and Carmel.
Andrew, Stuart, Carmel and all the family, our deepest condolences to you all. The wonderful memories we have as Bill and I were young. He was a great friend of our dad Don Flack, with many funny days, like the day they decided to pickle onions in your back yard. Not just a couple, a few huge hessian bags full. We caught up many years later with him working at Ventura, and became friends again. He was the best person over the years. Caught up again at dads 80th when he and Carmel came to my home. We kept in touch with Facebook, as we travel Australia now full time. So I am so sorry we didn’t hear in time to say goodbye or to attend the funeral, we are in Broome WA. Love to you all, and hope we can stay in touch in the coming years.
To all the McLellan family,
Our family has lived beside yours for 36 years but we’re never in each other’s pockets.
We knew that Bob and Jan were always there for us.
Bob and Carmel came to our golden wedding celebration 5 years ago. We have been amicable neighbours for all those long years. Carmel has been a significant support to Bob in the these last years.
Dear Stu, Andy and family, condolences to you all on this very difficult day. The service was lovely, a very fitting farewell to an awesome bloke, “Uncle Bob”. Our thoughts are with you.
Love Dom, Kirsten, Hayden, Alannah and Hamish.
In the circumstances that Service was truely beautiful.
I wish i could have been there. (By way of information I am the current Box Hill RSL Appeals Officer).
I have had the pleasure of knowing Bob for a few short years. Before my time as the Appeals person I knew Bob as a friend. He is a great guy but you know that.
In my role as Appeals person i have to say he was sensational. Bob and Phil educated me on how to do it. I would not have made i without them.
Miss you much Bob

To Bobs much loved family I send my sincerest condolences. Bob and Jan were ver special people and were always so very proud of you all.
May Bob be reunited with Jan today and for eternity, and may their loved ones continue to feel surrounded by their everlasting love.
Our sincere condolences Stu and Andy and to your families. We are so sad to hear of Bob’s passing, we have so many wonderful memories.
He is now with beautiful Jan and I am sure Mum and Doug will be welcoming him as well. Love Sue and David Ferguson and family xx
Bob was a good friend to many members of the Box Hill RSL. He was a great volunteer at both Annual Appeals we held with his good friend Phil Kinnear. Bob was a good leader with the Day Club and helped over many years with buses. His last years of life created many difficulties especially having to attend dialysis three times each week. He never complained about his medical condition and was always Cheerful. Carmel was a tremendous help to Bob over many years. She gave him the encouragement to keep going and when he was still very sick attend the RSL for the movies, Friday raffle and lunch which kept him going for additional months.
To Bobs family I would like to say that Bob will be sorely missed by many members of the RSL.
To Carmel, I hope you can still attend our RSL as you are part of our family and I would still hope you can join us for lunch after the movie is over. Lest We Forget Bob.
To the family & friends of bob, our sincere condolences, now he is at peace and painfree, you will be very missed. Such a great man! Love the Edmonds Family xo
