A beautiful service. Bob would have been very pleased with the presentation and very proud of his family. Well done! Fond memories Love to you all, Cheryl and Bob xx
Thank you everyone for your messages and for watching the service. I think it went very well and was a “good send-off”. I think he would have been proud. There is a lot of living in 90 years and I could not mention all of his achievements, but I hope I did enough. I really loved Dad reading “the Ode” at the end!
Bob was always a bit “larger than life”. I’m glad he got such a lovely send off in spite of the circumstances. We were thinking of you today. Sending love.
A Beautiful tribute to our dear Uncle and Brother-in-law Bob
We are thinking of you all at this sad time
Sending our Love

I appreciated being able to be there at Bob’s funeral via live-stream.
I worked with Bob in the Security Branch in Woomera between 1967 and 1975 and spent time with him after we had retired at reunion functions. Bob was always liked and respected by all his work mates and their wives/partners etc. I have great memories of him from Woomera days when we worked together on many security jobs. I hold him in my memory of those great times.
I extend my condolences to Greg, Anne-Marie and their families and hope to attend his Memorial service in Adelaide later.
