  1. Dear AJ and Marianne and the family,
Apart from knowing Rohan at St Joseph’s and Aquinas, I have been constant touch with Rohan over the last few years and I met him when he came over to Sydney for a wedding. When I heard that he was in hospital recently, I called and had a chat. Little I knew that he will pass the following day. Rohan was always in good spirits inspite of his circumstances. May his Soul Rest In Peace. Condolences to the family.

  20. Hello Ajit , Patty and Sheyvanthi ,

It was shock and sad when I heard the news . Rohan loved his friends and his class mate Irvin was lucky enough to spent the last few hours with him .

Whenever I went to Melbourne visited Rohan and by nature he is always cheerful , can be grumpy at time with good intent while he was facing many challenges .

Always generous in offering his advice and sharing his knowledge .

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one.

  21. Our heartfelt condolences to Shivanthy, Ajit, Patty & Marianne.
Salute to our dear cousin Rohan who was a generous & kind hearted person just like Victor uncle & Kamala aunty. Their penthouse flat State Bank of India at Colombo Fort was a second home to all Brodie clan. I’ll cherish all the lovely time spent with dear Rohan . Especially, with Rohan & his family during my engagement in Srilankan Dec 1986. We’ll always be grateful for all what he did for me. He’ll be never forgotten & will be in our prayers.
May his soul rest in peace. Keerthi & Vanaja

  22. Dear Sheyvanthie, my heartfelt condolences to you and your uncle Ajit on the death of your loving Dad. I was one of his classmates from 1958-1970 at St Joseph’s Colombo.
I spoke to him only 2 days before he passed away. It came as a shock when I heard of his demise so soon after. Eternal rest grant unto Rohan O’Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

  26. Dear Ajit, Patty, Shiyavanthi and all Brodie/ Johnpillai Families,
I was so sad to hear the news of Rohan passing away on 20th morning. Our family were so close to Brodie family since we were young children – over 60 years ago. During our younger days we spent enjoyable times with Rohan, Ajit, Hiran and Patty, when they visited Jaffna during their School holidays.
I had regular contact with Rohan and have fond memories of him over the years.
Rohan will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
    Please accept our Deepest sympathies.
May his Soul Rest In Peace.

  27. Hi Shiyavanthi and all my Cousins around the world,

Rohan is a blessed soul. God sent a dear friend to be with him during the last three hours of his life. They prayed and enjoyed a meal together. What better send off can we ask for!

I grateful to God that Rohan was not alone during his final moments and stepped across without pain or suffering. May God embrace his soul with open arms to be welcomed in the Kingdom of Heaven eternally!
