  1. We’ve just poured a glass of red and toasted our mate Russ!
We will sadly miss him but are thankful for the many great times we shared.
Big hugs Cam and Deen, it’s been a wonderful tribute to your Dad.

  2. A beautiful celebration of the life of a lovely, kind and intelligent man. He was a great tutor with endless patience. He is greatly missed.

  3. A very moving and wonderful tribute to such a remarkable man. So many have been positively
affected by his involvement in their life. Hearing all the fantastic memories of friends and close ones
brought a tear to my eye. Russ was never one for suits and ties. He was down to earth in the true sense of the word.
Another person with his ability and knowledge would be surrounded by superficial luxuries but he was happy with
    nature and the human touch.
    Very sadly missed

  4. What a beautiful celebration and commemoration of your Dad’s life. He lived it well and has been a kindred spirit for so many. He is the embodiment of the poem ‘Success’ by Ralph Waldo Emerson. You are so fortunate to have had two beautiful parents, as are your cousins, nieces and nephews. I hope you can all find comfort in the memories you have, and knowing that so many people loved and respected all that Russ had to offer the world, he certainly has left his mark. xxx

  5. What a beautiful service. Thanks for streaming this today. I only met Russ through U3A Mornington last year, but he sure left an everlasting impression on me. I joined a couple of his classes and loved his style of teaching – very hands-on. A pleasure to have his friendship, even for such a short time.
Much love to family and friends.

  6. A very moving service to celebrate a special life well lived… Not a dry eye in our house – from laughing and crying…
