My niece Ruth was truly a special person. Always thinking of others – and gone way too soon.
Wonderful to share the service and the celebration of her life.
May she rest in peace.

Ruth and I were fellow staff members with AIM at Warburton in 1977…..we developed a friendship over the years, mainly long distance as she returned to Melbourne and I remained in the desert…..I did make a visit to Melbourne a couple years later and stayed with her and Caroline. and went to Geelong and met some of her family,……A life well lived in service to God and her fellow man…..Well done good and faithful servant…….RIP and in eternal rest with God…….Murray Wells, Perth, WA

A beautiful tribute to a true and faithful friend with whom I shared many adventures with over the years including our trip to Uluru. A yellow Easter zinnia during a really violent working time was a symbol that Christ was truly alive and always protecting us.
Her work ethics and always doing what was right were memorable and another name for her was “Miss Précis!”
I will miss her but always at Easter will remember our yellow zinnia . Also her excitement at seeing snow in Ballarat.
Love and blesssings to her family. Adele Thomas.
Condolences to you all.
Ruth and Adele and I shared our life for 12 mths at Warburton. Yes we were the nurses .
Due to distance a life it was a contact once or twice a year, rowing in Adelaide the Christmas cards . Once we all retired it was more often. Messages or phone calls.
Ruth and Adele and I caught up a couple of years ago in Ballarat, it was fantastic like we had never been a part. Lots of memories and lots of talk and of course laughs.
She fondly called me Gilby. I will miss the messages, phone calls and cards and the letters sent to Gilby.
Love to. You all as you come to terms with your loss.
A wonderful cousin and friend who always thought of others.
A true disciple, who served others throughout her life.
In my heart Ruth will live on for as long as i live.
Look forward to meet up again in heaven.
A lovely service for a wonderful lady who spent her life helping others.

A privilege and a blessing to be able to share in this special service.
Treasured memories of fun, fellowship and friendship with Ruth at Galiwin’ku
Ruth was beautiful lady whom I worked with on Elcho Island and kept in contact over many years. My family has wonderful memories of her visiting our home in Western Victoria. She was a devoted nurse and friend. Rest in peace Ruth.
Ruth was so faithful at keeping in touch over the years, after sharing time together on Elcho Island in the early 1980’s. She was amazing how much she managed at the health clinic, and at times that meant carrying the load of care alone in the wee hours of the night … and in a beautiful Ruth way, doing so with grace and devotion to her patients. May she rest in peace.
