  1. THANK YOU ALL

Please continue to pray for us as we heal and move forward. Thank you for all your kind expression of sympathy, it is deeply appreciated.
For all the love, kindness and support, we are grateful.

Having people like you during hard times helps to have when life may seem empty and we feel alone. Your generous spirit has touched my life from across the miles.

For Ralph, a sincere thank you for a moving and most beautiful farewell mass for our
mum, which I am most certain was enjoyed by all.

Rest in Peace Mummy. Will always think about you. I hold you close in my heart and there you will always remain until we meet again.

  2. Our most heartfelt condolences to the entire Cochrane family, who have suffered such a great loss, she will be greatly missed. She was my Auntie and although only four years older than I, was my childhood playmate. I look back fondly at all the wonderful games and pranks we enjoyed as children in Clairwood and the lovely holiday we had when she and Uncle Maurice celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary .She is in a far better place, I expect sitting on a cloud ringing the bells with the angels. Oh what wonderful times I recall. May she rest in peace with all the departed souls. Many thanks for sharing this with us..
    Lots of Love

So heartening that at the end a bird sang…. I almost felt that Polly, the bird, was part of the service, taking our beloved aunt, mother, mother-in – law, grandmother to her final rest.

  14. A beautiful celebration remembering the life of Aunty Polly. Although thousands of miles away, I felt like I was there during this mass. I was touched and choked by emotion. A beautiful “send off” and I felt privileged to be a part of her last moments. I will always remember her fondly. The Cochranes and the Gabins go way back and we have bonds that will always connect us. Well done to Penny, Vivian (who sang so beautifully), Donny and Fumie and all the family for organizing amidst a pandemic and extreme times; a colorful, a musical, beautiful and momentous occasion. Aunty Polly and Uncle Morris would have been proud of you.
My thoughts go out to all the family.
Rest In Peace dear Aunty Polly.
