I’ve watched the church and burial services from Vancouver and find it all very moving. I have fond memories of visiting Aunt Pat and Uncle Stuart at Plashers Mead in 2008, and of their visits to Canada when I was growing up. I am sorry for Stuart’s distressing and untimely passing. With love to Aunt Pat, and with thanks to his family, friends, neighbours at this difficult time.
My family and I send our deepest sympathy to Patricia, ‘Aunty Pat’, and to the Krichauff family. Stuart was more than a brother-in-law and friend, he was my hero for the way he kept things going at Bullengarook during the years of Pat’s increasing disability. It is so sad that those long happy years at Plashers Mead have come to an end.
Auntie Trish, when I think of my childhood, yourself and Uncle Stuart were such a big part of it. Uncle Stuart letting me “fly”’the plane…. getting offered glasses of lemonade, sleeping in your beds while dad and Uncle Stuart drank too much red while you and mum talked into the night.
Such fantastic memories of wonderful people.
I am so sorry for you and everyone that knew him, that Stuart has passed away, but it is you Auntie Trish that my heart breaks for. You were such an excellent team xx

My deepest sympathy to Patricia and all of the Krichauff family. Stuart has been a friend for many years. He was a truly great person, and will be very much missed.
We are all so devastated by this most untimely loss. Huge regrets from over here in SA that we weren’t able to come across for today’s service. Our hearts were there especially with Patricia at this most traumatic time. We wish him well in God’s care.
Stuart was a member of the Airtourer Association and participant in our fly-ins for as long as I can remember. I also remember many great conversations about Airtourers, the airline industry and of course the Meta-Sokol. He will be missed by the Airtourer community and the Airtourer Association passes on its condolences to his family and friends.
