  11. Dearest Keith, Chris, Judith, Trevor, Chantelle and Narelle,

Please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing away of a kind and compassionate lady who lived a happy and adventurous life spanning many countries. Only a few do that.

We first met Thelma and her family when we first migrated to New Zealand from Sri Lanka with a two year old daughter in 1977. Thelma and Keith took us under their wings and helped us in the process of settling down in a new country. That was the start of a lifetime of friendship.

Somehow as fate would have it a few years later we too moved to Melbourne where again Thelma and her family helped us settle in. The friendship continues.

    May she Rest In Peace.

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Auntie Thelma. Sending all our love and strength to you all.
We encounter special people in our lives that contribute to the fabric that make us who we are and are part of our own life’s storyline. Sometimes we only realise this when we are forced to reflect on such occasions. Auntie Thelma showed so much kindness and love to us as a family, this was never forgotten and never will be. Her kindness and open heart provide a role model for us all to continue to share and impact others in the same positive manner.
