  1. Dear Irene , Bree And David, a very moving and lovely farewell you gave Tony and your dad. My heart goes out to you and your extended families. As time passes you will be able to look back on his life and enjoy the many happy times you shared.

    A very touching and beautiful service this morning in farewelling your beloved Tony.

    His humour, bear hugs and handshakes will be missed but undeniably the love for his family was much stronger. A wonderful husband, father & grandfather. Remember those good times.

  7. Uncle Tones, I’m going to miss that big burley uncle giving me the tightest hugs where I couldn’t breathe. Very fond memories of the Sunday BBQs messing around in the pool with everyone.

    I got to know Tony when he was working at the Mt Pleasant Hotel,
    Alexandra during the period around 2004-05.
    I enjoyed his company and regarded him as a very good and friendly manager.
    Just happened to notice the death notice in the paper recently.
    Viewed the service which was touching.
    Sincere sympathy.

    at Alexandra. (Around 2003-2004 period approx.)
    I had considerable respect for him and regarded him as a very competent manager. I, and others, enjoyed his company.
    Just happened to notice his passing in the paper last week.

    I watched his funeral service on line today.
    My sympathy to you all during this difficult time.

  16. Good bye mate, the times we had growing up, with the Flat, football, HD Holdens and introducing me to Joanne were the great times of my life. The world does not seem the same with you gone.
