Hi Alan, Anne-Marie and Allison, I have just watched the service for Auntie Vola, an absolute wonderfull tribute to your Mum.
I remember her with fond memories and many stories of when we spent time together as young cousins. Love to all, Denise. I do actually remember the dog story!
Disappointed I could not be there in person but there is always a loop hole, so thank you to those who made it possible for me to be a part of a unique service, despite the gusty wind, the sun was shining.
It was nice to hear of your family remembrances and to re affirm the presence of a special daughter of our Father who has completed her journey in mortality.
Thank you for allowing us to participate in Auntie’s beautiful funeral service in honouring her life. I have much to thank her for, especially for introducing me to the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I just wanted to come and hug you all but send our love and condolences at this tender time. I’ll be on the chocolate team with Auntie in heaven too!
Till we meet again.
Love Gail, Graham and Family. xx
Great to be able to join and listen to Alan, Anne-Marie and Alison’s comments. What a remarkable lady, little nanna, nanna, mother, wife and daughter. So many fun memories, joy and laughter. A testament to the sustaining power of chocolate! Mosiah 4:14-15 continued on as a discipline scripture for the next generation. We know Nanna is at peace and look forward to seeing her again and enjoying a piece of chocolate (or block?) together. Love you Nanna
A beautiful tribute to an amazing woman.
Loved her faith in our Saviour, loved her sense of humour and loved her.
Many cherished memories to reminisce with her in another time and place.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. xx
Thank you, a really lovely service and some fantastic memories of Nana shared! She really is a unique lady and character who will be missed on this side of the veil but we know she will be welcomed on the other side with such fondness. (We’re almost certain there’s chocolate in Heaven!) It was truly sad not be able to be there but thank you for making us a part of it, sending all our love to the family there.
A lovely service the three of you spoke well. I enjoyed listening to the memories of a lovely lady. I’ll always remember her as a friend, lots of laughs, especially that she loves chocolate who doesn’t rest in peace Vola God be with you till we meet again xx
I remember with such fondness the dynamic women I met when I married Alan. Such an example of kindness. She raised three wonderful children. Rest now in peace Vola and dance on. Love Jillian

One of the toughest woman I’ll ever know. Sweet dreams Nanna.
