    I have so many happy memories of Aunty Yvonne and our happy times together growing up with your family. I remember how funny she was and how she would make me laugh with her stories. I loved her energy, kindness and generosity. I remember getting ready for Cricket matches, eating her lovely chapatis, playing carrom, going to dances and just sharing in lots of laughs and great times. I have so many great memories to cherish as I am sure all of you do to. I hope they are a great source of comfort to you as you feel the enormity of her loss. The service was beautiful, the reflections were heart warming and a fine tribute to Aunty Yvonne. You were absolutely right it would have been a full house. Hopefully you could feel our love from a distance and that you feel it now. Thinking of you all, with love and affection. We will remember your mum always.

October 10th 1971, our youngest Karen was delivered at KEM hospital, and Yvonne being on duty, helped Sandra through a safe delivery. Both of you were the first of our friends to visit us when we arrived in Australia. And from then always helped us a lot. As far as getting sale for Sandra’s Mango pickle’s.     It is a difficult time to go thru at the moment but covering your entire family in prayer each day for God to shower His Peace, Comfort and strength on all of you.

    Looking back at aunty Yvonne’s life, all we can see is aunty smiling all the time and showing her concern towards us whenever we met. We always felt like home Whenever we came to visit you’ll. Her passion for knitting spoke volumes with all who were blessed by her, us included. Aunty knitted a lovely baby blanket for my daughter 11 yeards ago and we still hold it dear. Such a beautiful one indeed. And every time we take it out our thoughts will definitely run to aunty Yvonne.

    We are sure to miss her a lot at our dance halls. Her luv for line dancing and her presence always on the floor will surely be missed.

    May the good Lord grant aunty Yvonne Eternal rest and may He bless you all with His Grace, Mercy, Peace, love and Strength.

    As we reflect on Yvonne’s life we cannot help but remember the beautiful person she was, the sheer joy and happiness she emanated where she went and a true face of the Anglo Indian community in Melbourne.

    We remember her for her love, friendship and advice at different seasons of our life. We will always remember her for her love for music and dancing. She was so full of life.
