  36. Marie-Anne, Guido and your beautiful family my heart goes out to you all at the loss of your precious Mum and Nan and I wish you strength, as she would wish you also, as you not only have to grieve the loss of this most gracious lady, but to also not be able to celebrate her life in the traditions that she held dear to her.
But that was the funny thing about Auntie Eve, she never wanted to be a bother to anyone so I don’t think she would mind about today being how it is.
I will always remember her and her gift of caring for others and believe that the world and our lives are definitely poorer now because one of its truly beautiful ladies has gone.
Auntie Eve you will always be in my heart … Love Christine

  37. Whenever I would visit despite her own pains and unwellness in recent times, she just wanted to hear about how my life was going.
Asking about everything. How the kids were? What I had been doing?
And having genuine joy in hearing my stories. She always wanted the best for everyone.
Never did she speak a bad word about anyone.
I miss her. There is no other like Auntie Eve.

  38. There was one night at a party at my place, and she loved a good party too, where she asked me to make her a cup of tea. Well I forgot to make it for her!
And with her own wit and humour she reminded me of it each time she wanted a tea from that day on. We had our own little joke about the forgotten tea …
That’s what she did. She always made everyone feel that they were special to her.

  39. Auntie Eve never judged others and always seemed to see the good in people.
She always saw the clearer picture when things seemed so complicated and chaotic to others.
Always calm, always respectful, you wanted to be next to her because that’s where life was peaceful.
She was also great fun. Sharing an Ouzo together and laughing about the little things in life with her wonderful humour.

  40. Our sincere condolences to Quido, Maryann and family on the passing of Eva
    Con,Anthea,Yiana and James x

  41. My beautiful Auntie Eve
What can I say about Auntie Eve? She was truly the Salt of the Earth.
A genuine, caring lady with a beautiful soul.
A part of my life from my first nappy change which she showed my mother how to do.
That’s who she was, the one who always guided us as children and even adults.
I remember while growing up. She was the one that whenever advise was needed about anything the solution was “Ask Auntie Eve she knows”.
From rashes to pains and injuries Auntie Eve knew what to do.
And as we grew older her words of wisdom about life, about relationships and just how to navigate our journey, I valued so much.

    1. Rest In Peace Eva.
Thank you for a beautiful farewell to my sister. I know Eve would be tickled pink with the service. Condolences to you all. Maria and Michael
